Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 June 2026

This policy explains how the Spine marketing website (madebyspine.com) uses cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy.

1. The short version

The Spine website is deliberately lightweight. It serves static pages and Google Fonts, and currently sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not run third-party ad networks or sell your data.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. “Similar technologies” include local storage and pixels. They can be set by the site you visit (first-party) or by another domain whose content is embedded (third-party).

3. What we use

CategoryPurposeSet by
Strictly necessary Security and reliable delivery of the site (e.g. our host's load-balancing). These do not track you across sites. Netlify (our host)
Fonts We load typefaces from Google Fonts so the site renders as designed. Google may receive your IP address to serve the font files. We do not use Google Fonts to set advertising cookies. Google Fonts
Analytics Not currently in use. If we add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics later, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.
Advertising / tracking None.

4. The apps

Our iOS apps (Snippet, TBX, Marginally) are native apps, not websites, and do not use browser cookies. They use secure on-device storage and authenticated requests to our API, as described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set most browsers to block them. Because this site relies only on strictly-necessary and font delivery, blocking cookies should not stop you reading these pages, though fonts may fall back to a system typeface.

6. Changes

If we introduce new cookies or analytics, we will update this policy and the “last updated” date, and provide a consent mechanism where the law requires one.
